Free Thanksgiving Community Resources

For anyone looking for a warm and tasty Thanksgiving meal, and some company to go along with it, the following Gallatin County locations will be serving FREE prepared meals on Thanksgiving.

 

Old Chicago (1940 North 19th, 587-9404) will be serving a free meal from 11am-2pm. No reservation needed.

John Bozeman’s Bistro (125 W Main, 587-4100) will be serving a free dinner from 1:30-3pm. You must call to make a reservation.

C3 Church (421 Spooner Rd). will be serving a free dinner from 2-3pm at Belgrade Intermediate School. No reservation needed.

The Salvation Army will be delivering dinners to folks who can’t get out. Sign up by calling 586-5813 by November 26th.

 

Other Resources:

The Gallatin Valley Food Bank is offering Thanksgiving food boxes for those who would like to cook but need assistance with groceries. The box includes: frozen turkey, stuffing mix, pumpkin pie ingredients, green beans, sweat potatoes, fruit, bread, and cooking instructions. Call the Food Bank at 406-586-7600 to sign up.

The Community Café serves a free, hot meal every night from 5-7pm. They will be open and serving a hot meal on Thanksgiving. The Community Café is open to the public. They are located at 302 N 7th Ave in Bozeman on the corner of Beall and 7th. You can find them online at www.cafebozeman.org or call them at 406-586-7600.
