National Infant Immunization Week

National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is an annual observance to highlight the importance of protecting infants from vaccine-preventable diseases and to celebrate the achievements of immunization programs in promoting healthy communities throughout the United States. This year, NIIW is scheduled to be held April 18-25, 2015.

On Saturday, April 25th from 9am-1pm, the Gallatin City-County Health Department will celebrate NIIW with extra immunization clinic appointments, healthy snacks, and a puppet show. Bozeman Deaconess Health Services will have their Healthcare Connections bus in the parking lot at the health department and will be offering free health screenings and select immunizations for those who need it including the uninsured and underinsured.

Call 582-3100 to schedule an appointment or just walk-in on Saturday, April 25th at the Gallatin City-County Health Department (215 West Mendenhall in Bozeman).
