What happens if cancer is detected?
If cancer is detected through the Cancer Screening Program, we can help enroll women with breast or cervical cancer into Medicaid for cancer treatment and cancer health services through the Montana Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention and Treatment Program.
Did you know…
Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, most private health plans must cover your annual visit along with many other preventive care benefits. That means the visit will be free for you, even if you haven’t met your yearly deductible. If you don’t have insurance, you can still see a provider by calling our local qualified health center Community Health Partners or BridgerCare and they will charge you what you can afford, based on your income. Have questions about health insurance and Medicaid? Call us at 582-3100 and ask to speak to our cancer program health promotion specialist.
