Common Infectious Diseases

What communicable diseases do we have in Montana?

Health care providers are required by law to submit reportable disease information to the health department. There are currently over 50 diseases and/or conditions that are reportable in Montana.

 

Some communicable diseases in our community include:

 

Pertussis (Whooping Cough)

Hepatitis

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs)

Strep Throat

Food & Waterborne Illnesses

Influenza
